Fourth Of July in Naples, Fl

Sunny days, just perfect sunsets, and white sand beaches- Naples is a great place to be all of the time but especially enjoyable on the 4th of July. Community togetherness and pride for our great nation. Here are some fun local parades and firework displays that you may want to attend.

NAPLES

Fourth of July Fireworks & Independence Day Celebration Paradise Coast Sports Complex (July 4th)

Collier County’s Centennial celebration continues with the Fourth of July Fireworks & Independence Day Celebration at the Paradise Coast Sports Complex at 3940 City Gate Blvd. N. Seating will be available at the complex stadium, with additional seating on The Great Lawn & The Cove. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets. Carpooling is advised. This event is free of charge, with food and beverage available for purchase. No pets, grills, or outside food and beverage are allowed.

Gates open at 6 pm for this free event. The band starts at 7 pm, and the fireworks begin at 9 pm. This event is rain or shine.

Downtown’s July 4th Parade

Bring the family and enjoy the annual Naples July 4th Parade starting on July 4th at 10:00 am. Please arrive early to get the best possible view along the parade route: It starts on Broad Avenue South at 3rd Street South, heads north on 3rd Street South to 5th Avenue South, then south on 8th Street South, where it ends.

Fireworks at the Naples Pier

Unfortunately, the fireworks from the Naples Pier are cancelled this year due to the damage from Hurricane Ian on the Naples Pier. The Pier is being rebuilt and that is were all of the focus is going for right now. Instead, they will be hosted in December to celebrate Naples 100th Birthday. 

Bonita Springs

The Star-Spangled Bonita

The City of Bonita Springs invites the public to its annual Star-Spangled Bonita – 4th of July 2023 Event. The celebration will take place on Tuesday, July 4, 2023, in downtown Bonita Springs Riverside Park- 10450 Reynolds St, Bonita Springs, FL 34135- starting at 6:00 p.m.

The Star-Spangled Bonita celebration will follow the annual parade hosted by the Bonita Springs Professional Firefighters Local 3444 on July 4th. This year’s theme is Party in the USA. The parade will take place starting at 9 a.m. along Old 41 on Tuesday, July 4th, 2023. For questions about the parade, please call Frank Todd at 239-220-0593 or visit bonitaspringsparade.com

Festivities for Star Spangled Bonita 2023 will begin at 6:00 pm and include musical entertainment performed by local favorite “The Ben Allen Band”. A spectacular 30-minute firework display and laser light show will light up the night at dusk. This is the only display of its kind in Southwest Florida.

Admission to Star Spangled Bonita is free to the entire community. Food and beverages will be available for purchase with proceeds from the beverage sales going to the Bonita Springs Rotary Club. Guests are encouraged to please leave their coolers and their pets at home.

Please note there will be road closures on Old 41 Road as part of the celebration. The first closure, starting from Rosemary Drive and ending on Kentucky Street, occurs at 8:30 a.m. The road reopens after the parade and will remain open until 5:00 p.m. Wilson Street to Childers Street on Old 41 Road will close again at 5:00 p.m. for the evening festivities, to ensure pedestrian safety. The road will reopen after the event at approximately 10:00 pm.

The Bonita Springs Independence Day Parade 

The Bonita Springs Independence Day Parade takes place annually on July 4th at 9:00 am on Old 41 between Kentucky St & Rosemary Dr. The parade has been organized by the Bonita Springs Firefighters Union since 1958.

MARCO ISLAND

The beach is the best place to watch the fireworks in Marco Island, as they’re launched from a barge in the Gulf of Mexico. So claim your spot on the sand, watch the sunset, and prepare for an even more colorful show: Fireworks in the night sky!

EVERGLADES CITY

This tiny burg is so eager to celebrate Independence Day that they do it early! This year’s Everglades City Independence Day Celebration is on Saturday, July 1, in McLeod Park. Starting at 10 am, Come for the hotdogs, chips, and lemonade compliments of the Everglades Lions Club – stay for the fireworks at 9:00 pm.
