Paradise is where I want to be on the 4th of July! White sandy beaches, firework celebrations, community togetherness and pride for our great nation- nothing is better than that. Here are some fun local events and firework displays that you may want to attend.

NAPLES
Fourth of July Fireworks & Independence Day Celebration Paradise Coast Sports Complex (July 4th)
Collier County’s Centennial celebration continues with the Fourth of July Fireworks & Independence Day Celebration at the Paradise Coast Sports Complex at 3940 City Gate Blvd. N. Seating will be available at the complex stadium, with additional seating on The Great Lawn & The Cove. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets. Carpooling is advised. This event is free of charge, with food and beverage available for purchase. No pets, grills, or outside food and beverage are allowed.
Festivities begin at 6 pm for this free event. The band starts at 7 pm, and the fireworks begin at 9 pm. This event is rain or shine.
Downtown’s July 4th Parade
Bring the family and enjoy the annual Naples July 4th Parade starting on July 4th at 10:00 am. Please arrive early to get the best possible view along the parade route: It starts on Broad Avenue South at 3rd Street South, heads north on 3rd Street South to 5th Avenue South, then south on 8th Street South, where it ends.
Fireworks at the Naples Pier
4th of July Fireworks starts at 9:00pm and is roughly a 30 minute show. Fireworks will be shot off a barge just west of the Naples Pier.
Bonita Springs
The Star-Spangled Bonita
The City of Bonita Springs invites the public to its annual Star-Spangled Bonita 4th of July 2024 Event. The celebration will take place on Thursday, July 4, 2024, in downtown Bonita Springs Riverside Park – 10450 Reynolds St., Bonita Springs, FL 34135 – starting at 6:00 p.m.
The Star-Spangled Bonita celebration will follow the annual parade hosted by the Bonita Springs Professional Firefighters Local 3444 on July 4th. This year’s parade theme is America the Beautiful. The City of Bonita Springs is celebrating big this year on 4th of July for its 25th year celebration! We are excited to announce the addition of a drone show to the already one-of-a-kind displays. This show will be unique to Southwest Florida. Festivities for Star Spangled Bonita 2024 will begin at 6:00 pm and include musical entertainment performed by local favorite “The Ben Allen Band”. To close the night a spectacular 48-minute drone, firework display, and laser light show will light up the night at dusk.
Admission to Star Spangled Bonita is free to the entire community. Food and beverages will be available for purchase with proceeds from the beverage sales going to the Bonita Springs Rotary Club. Please join us in thanking Royal Scoop for sponsoring this year’s ice cream eating contest. Guests are encouraged to please leave their coolers and their pets at home. Tents are not permitted in the park after 8pm.
Please note that there will be road closures on July 4th, on Old 41 Road for the morning parade. The first closure, starting from Rosemary Drive and ending on Kentucky Street, occurs at 8:30 a.m. The road reopens after the parade and will remain open until 5:00 p.m. Wilson Street to Childers Street on Old 41 Road will close again at 5:00 p.m. for the evening festivities, to ensure pedestrian safety. The road will reopen after the event at approximately 10:00 pm.

The Bonita Springs Independence Day Parade
The Bonita Springs Independence Day Parade takes place annually on July 4th at 9:00 am on Old 41 between Kentucky St & Rosemary Dr. The parade has been organized by the Bonita Springs Firefighters Union since 1958.

MARCO ISLAND

EVERGLADES CITY
Get a jump on Independence Day with Everglades City’s annual fireworks celebration. Fireworks are at 9 p.m. The opening ceremony is at 10 a.m. on the steps of City Hall, followed at 10:30 a.m. by the Patriotic Parade with the theme “Red, White & Blue”. There are prizes for the best floats which may be anything from golf carts to swamp buggies. The fun continues in McLeod Park when booths open at 11 a.m. for food, music, kiddie contests, arts and crafts, face painting, raffles and playground games.
